✦ Synopsis

The structure of helianthosid 2 was reexamined by a spectroscopic investigation using one-and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy and all 'H and "C signals of the saccharide part were assigned. NOE difference and ROESY experiments allowed a conformational analysis of the orientation of the monosaccharide units with respect to each other.
