## Abstract Four amatoxin‐binding proteins with __K~D~__ values in the nanomolar range, 3 monoclonal antibodies and RNA polymerase II, were studied with respect to their affinities to 24 α‐amanitin derivatives with modified side chains. From __K~D~__ values we estimated the amounts of binding energ
