Abstract

The nmr analysis of a mixture of cryptolepinone and it's 5(N)‐oxide in a 1.5:1 ratio is discussed. The differentiation of the resonances of the two similar compounds, and elucidation of the unknown 5(N)‐oxide relied primarily on IDR‐GHSQC‐TOCSY data in conjunction with ROESY, GHSQC, and GHMBC experiments.
