The 13 C NMR spectra of four Ca@C 82 isomers have been measured. The symmetry of isomers I, II, III, and IV are assigned to be C s , C 3v , C 2 , and C 2v , respectively. For isomer IV, the cage is specified to be C 2v (9).

We have found that "C nmr spectroscopy is a powerful tool for the determination of the structures of &, trans isomers in the phosphorinane family. It is more definitive than 'H nmr spectroscopy; the carbon signals are well separated and have several unique features pointing to the structure, whereas
Two isomers of betamethasone 9a-fluoro-11~,17a,21-trihydroxy-l6~-methy~pregna-l,4diene-3,2~ione (l), were isolated from the mother liquor of a manufacturing process and were characterized by NMR spectroscopy. They were identified as 8a-fluoro-l1~,17a,2l-trihydroxy-l6~-methyl-9~-pregna-l,4-diene-3,20
