Structural and Thermal Characterization of Zeolite Type Y Modified by Ion Exchange with Zn, Cd, and Hg Cations
The object of our studies was zeolite NaY and its Zn2+-, Cd2+-and Hg2+ modifications obtained by ion-exchange method. Influcncc of the above cations on the crystalline structure of zeolite typc Y and its thermal stability has bccn shown on the grounds of X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, and infrared spectroscopic measurements.
