✦ Synopsis

The performance and structural characterlstrcs of PTFE bonded nickel hydroxide electrodes have been studied as a function of electrolyte composition, temperature, and overcharge.

The results demonstrate that crystal growth and the relative stability of the &NiOOH and y-NiOOH oxrdlsed phases are highly dependent on these parameters

The ways m which these relationships are reflected m electrode performance are discussed.
