## Abstract This article deals with the development of a method for the determination of osmium at a carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with cationic surfactants of the quaternary ammonium salt type; namely, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and 1‐(ethoxycarbonyl)‐pentadecyltrimethyl‐ammoniu
