Ah&act-In this paper, stresses around a cylindrical crack on the interface between a circular elastic cylinder and an infinite elastic medium made of another material are determined. It is assumed that the surfaces of the interface crack are subjected to shearing stress. Application of the Fourier transformation technique reduces the problem to that of solving two dual integral equations. To obtain the non-oscillatory stress singularities at the crack tip, the crack surface displacements are expanded in trigonometrical functions accompanied with the unknown coefficients. A modified version of the Schmidt method is used to solve these coefficients. The stress intensity factors, which have the same property as that of the crack in a homogeneous elastic body, are computed numerically
