โœฆ Synopsis

Stress relaxation behavior of chemically treated short sisal fiber-reinforced natural rubber composite was studied. The effect of bonding agent, strain level, fiber loading, fiber orientation, and temperature has been studied in detail. The existence of a single relaxation pattern in the unfilled stock and a two-stage relaxation mechanism for the fiber-filled composite is reported. The relaxation process is influenced by the bonding agent, which indicated that the process involved fiber-rubber interface. The rate of stress relaxation increased with fiber loading, whereas it decreased with aging.

## Abstract The stress relaxation behavior of natural rubber (NR) and its composites reinforced with short coir fibers under tension was analyzed. The rate of stress relaxation was a measure of the increase in the entropy of the compounds: the higher the rate was, the greater the entropy was. At lo

Stress-strain and stress relaxation properties are studied in composites consisting of a thermoplastic elastomer butadiene styrene copolymer (SBS) matrix and oxidated carbon fiber. The results obtained from samples at different degrees of oxidation are contrasted with those obtained from SBS filled

Rubber engineers face difficulties in scorching and vulcanizing during rubber processing, particularly of natural rubber (NR). Therefore, this work tried to solve these problems by blending thermoplastic rubber with NR compound. The results indicated that the scorch resistance of the NR was improved
