Ahatract-Two equal parallel cracks on one edge and one unequal parallel crack on the other edge of a Ii&e width sheet are studied. Formulae for calculating the stress intensity factors @IF) of this crack contiguration are obtained from the results of finite element analysis. The difference between the formulae and the finite element results is less than 3%. Gn this basis, the influence of crack interactions on SIF is discussed.
