✦ Synopsis
The effect of M11000 benzotriazole in an acid copper sulphate bath has been investigated. Measurements of the internal stress and the microhardness in copper electrodeposits were taken . The deposits were bright and had a high internal tensile stress and a higher microhardness than that obtained with other addition agents . An ageing effect and a stress after-effect were also observed .
