โœฆ Synopsis

In this paper non-linear bending analysis of anisotropic sector plate is extended by developing stress-based formulation. The governing equations include a system of thirteen partial differential equations that involve five constitutive equilibrium equations and eight equations in terms of stress resultants. Forces and moments are calculated using shear and normal stresses that parabolic distribution is assumed for shear stress relations. Finally the resulted equation comprised with strain-displacement based formulation.

Non-linear static analysis of moderately thick sector plates under uniformly distributed loading is presented. Using the first-order shear deformation theory and Von Karman type non-linearity, the governing equations of equilibrium are developed and expressed in terms of displacement components. The

A flat shell element based on the free-formulation finite element concept is developed for analysing geometrically non-linear thin composite shells. A corotational form of the updated Lagrangian formulation is utilized. Numerical results for typical validation problems are presented in order to demo
