โœฆ Synopsis


The influence of stress on chemical potential and solubility for solutes with asymmetrical distortion fields are considered. Numerical solutions and series approximations are presented for several examples of different stress states. Both open and closed thermodynamic systems are treated. The calculations are compared with results for hydrogen in crystalline Pd and amorphous Pd alloys, the latter of which involves an asymmetrical distortion field. R&un&Nous ttudions l'influence de la contrainte sur le potentiel chimique et sur la solubihtt de solutes a champ de distorsion asymetrique. Nous p~sentons des solutions numeriques et des approximations par des series pour phtsieurs exemples d'etats de contraintes. Nous nous indressons aux systemes thermodynamiques tant ouverts que fermes. Nous comparons les calcuies avec les rt%tltats obtenus pour de l'hydrogene dissous dans du Pd cristallise et dam des alliages de Pd amorphes, le second cas correspondant a un champ de deformation asymetrique.
