β¦ Synopsis
&ws distribution and strains are obtained in rotating compounded diac8 which are compounded of several constant or variable thickness discs. General twodimensional elasticity equations of equilibrium and computability are used in nondimensional form combined with the boundary condition of stress and strains at junction points and at the inner and the outer boundaries of the compounded disc. The method developed here is compared with the previous results obtained from photoelastic and finite difference approximation and shows close agreement.
