โฆ Synopsis
A design for constructing control strategies using extremal aiming in the direction of the coinvariant gradients of auxiliary functionals of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii type is presented for problems of controlling hereditary dynamical systems when there is interference. It is proved, under fairly general conditions, that these strategies yield the optimal guaranteed result.

Computer models for following stimulus gradients in two-dimensional space were evaluated to determine the relative advantages of di!erent strategies and to identify the issues that must be addressed in making such a comparison. The simulations were implemented with emphasis on making them as general
Postural responses were measured for observers instructed to maintain an erect position when viewing a visual scene, which stimulated motion of the observer relative to a corridor with texture on the walls. Both the direction and amplitude of the postural responses appeared to depend on the fixation
In this paper, the critical energies required to initiate a cylindrical or spherical detonation are measured experimentally in ethylene-air mixtures at ambient conditions. These results are used to validate the critical explosion length invariance, linking the critical energies in the different geom
