That, in a nutshell, is what the Gwen Farris series has been all about. A woman that one society has all but forgotten, finds a new lease on life in a place so different that she can't help but rediscover herself.
In the real world we don't always get breaks like that. Or at least they aren't just handed to us. No, if you want to become someone new you have to fight for it. You need to be willing to do whatever it takes, to become who you really want to be.
There's no big reveal here and I'm not using this as a promotion for my other books. (Though, it would be great if you read them.) Nope. This is all about you.
If you could be anyone in the world, who would it be? Once you know that, then ask what are you going to do to get that for yourself? If you stop to reflect on anything today, that should be it.
