From a K ยฐ and A enriched data sample the rare Pontecorvo reactions pd-+AK ยฐ and pd--+EยฐK ยฐ were clearly observed for the first time. Analyses for missing K ยฐ or charged decaying K ยฐ in the final st~Le show surprisingly similar branching ratios (~ 2 โ€ข 10 -6) for both reactions. This rules out a desc
