A quark-meson coupling model based on SU(3) L ร— SU(3) R symmetry and scale invariance is proposed. We apply this chiral SU(3) quark mean-field model to investigate strange hadronic matter including ฮ›, ฮฃ and ฮž hyperons. With the symmetry-breaking term, all the hyperon potentials are reasonable. The e
