(E)‐3‐(1__H__‐Pyrrol‐3‐yl)‐2‐propenoic Acid and (E)‐3‐(1__H__‐Pyrrol‐3‐yl)‐2‐propenamide from Streptomyces parvulus, Strain Tü 2480
The title compounds were isolated from cultures of Streptomyces parvulus. They give a deep blue colour reaction with Ehrlich reagent. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopy and comparison with synthetic samples. They do not show any antimicrobial activity.
