Highly (1 0 0)-oriented Pb 0.4 Sr 0.6 TiO 3 (PST40) thin films have been prepared on the Tb doped PbTiO 3 (PTT) thin film coated ITO/glass substrate by sol-gel technique. The PTT inducing layers are (1 0 0)-oriented and can help to control the orientation of PST40 thin films. Crystallization of the
