Spin-off novel, based on Gerry Anderson's 'Stingray' tv series, set in the year 2065. Published by Armada, a paperback imprint of May Fair Books Ltd. This is the 2nd of two original novels written by John Theydon (a pen-name for John W Jennison), based on the British science fiction television series. In this second novel, Atlanta is kidnapped and used as bait in order to capture Stingray. In a pirated patrol vessel, she is taken into the weird and unknown depths of the ocean, where, in order to rescue her, Troy Tempest, Phones and Marina must face a monster of the deep. The television show was made in 1962-64, by ATV/ITC for Lew Grade (later Lord Grade), in Supermarionation, on film and in colour. It aired on the commercial channel.
