✦ Synopsis


Stimulated-emission spectroscopy methods were applied to investigate the temperature behaviour of main laser properties of the "garnet" ceramics Nd 3+ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 . Obtained results clearly show that this novel form of the garnet gain material is an excellent alternative to the Nd 3+ :Y3Al5O12 single crystals.
