## Abstract Homologs of 17‐hydroxy‐4,4‐17α‐trimethyl‐3‐oxo‐androst‐5‐ene‐2α‐carbonitrile (**6d**), such as the 4,4‐diethyl‐(**6a**), 4,4‐cyclopentyl‐(**6c**) and 4,4‐cyclohexyl‐(**6b**) analogs were synthesized.
