Additions of LiMezCu to acyclic vinyloxiranes 4, 5, 6, and 7 proceed predominately anti &2' to afford the (E)-allylic alcohol products. The SN~' addition of organocopper reagents to vinyloxiranes is a well established synthetic route to allylic alcohols. However, except for the initial observation
