✦ Synopsis

Thin-film electrocatalyst for unitized regenerative PEMFCs

Thin-film electrocatalyst layers with varying PTFE and Nafion contents for unitized regenerative PEM fuel cells (URFCs) made using the paste method were examined as URFC electrodes. Adding Ir catalyst to the oxygen electrode layer significantly improved performance. Catalyst loadings can be reduced to <1/3 using this method. T. Ioroi, K. Yasuda, Z. Siroma, N. Fujiwara and Y. ## Abstract The internal reforming of methane on Ni/CGO and Ni/YSZ anodes was investigated with single cells operated at steam to carbon ratios from 0 to 3 and at temperatures of 800 °C and 950 °C. The incorporation of gas extraction ports allowed the measurement of the local gas composition in the

Nanocrystalline tetragonal zirconia films using ESD Presenr efforts are focused on lowering the operating temperature of SOFCs from -1000Β°C to -750Β°C (i.e. IT-SOFCs). However, such temperatures need a significant reduction in the electrolyte resistance. Here pure tetragonal and nanocrystalline 2 mol

Electrocatalysts based on FeeNi alloys were prepared by means of modified Pechini and physical mixture methods and using on a composite of Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) and Gadolinia-Doped Ceria (GDC) as support. The former method was based on the formation a polymeric precursor that was subseque
