Synopsis

The equations derived in part I i) *) are used to calculate numerically the values of the configurational energy and specific heat of a simple cubic ferromagnet at temperatures above the Curie point. The specific heat curve obtained in this way is compared with the specific heat curves obtained from Bethe's first approximation *) and the curve obtained from the exact series expansion by a method due to T r e f f t z "). *) This paper is quoted as I and WC use throughout its notation. Equations and tables from I are referred to as equation (I.. .) and table I.. , eg. (1.59) or table 1.11.
