## Abstract The 1‐NH structure for 3‐azidoindazole has been demonstrated by the observation of ^1^Hο£Ώ^1^H and ^13^Cο£Ώ^1^H couplings involving the hydrogen atom attached to nitrogen. A comparison between 3‐azidoindazole and indazole shows that both compounds have the same tautomeric structure.
