The stated monthly meeting of the Institute was called to order at threethirty P.M. by the President of the Institute, Mr. Nathan Hayward.
The Chairman stated that the minutes of the April meeting had been printed in full in the May number of the JOURNAL of the Institute and that, if there were no objections, the minutes would stand approved as printed. No objection was uttered and the minutes were declared approved.
The Chairman then stated that the next business of the meeting was the presentation of medals which had been recommended by the Committee on Science and the Arts and voted by the Board of Managers throughout the past year. Certificates of Honorary Membership were also presented.
