## Abstract Cytochrome __c__ peroxidase from __Paracoccus denitrificans__ LMD 52.44 was recently identified. The enzyme contains two __c__‐type haems: one is reducible physiologically by cytochrome __c__~550~ from the same organism or non‐physiologically by ascorbate (high‐potential haem) and the o
