โฆ Synopsis
Vibrating capillary apparatus (VCA) was designed and constructed for the preparation of sulphamethoxazole (SMZ) microcapsules using gelatin as a coating polymer. The microcapsules were characterized by physico-chemical methods. The apparent diffusion coefficient D, and diffusion rate constant K B L of the drug were measured at pH of 1.2 and 7.2. Better controlled release products were obtained in the VCA.
