✦ Synopsis

Heavy fermion systems are described by the periodic Anderson model, which is studied within the self-consistent second-order U-perturbation treatment in the limit of high spatial dimension d. We have applied this approach to the calculation of the temperature dependence of the static magnetic susceptibility, the resistivity and the Hall coefficient and the magnetic field dependence of the magnetization.
