Abstract

Für bekannte Festivalstätten in Österreich, wie zum Beispiel Wien, Salzburg und die Seebühnen in Bregenz und Mörbisch, sind im Sommer Freilufttheater die Publikumsmagnete. Dabei zeichnet sich Bregenz durch spektakuläre Kulissenkonstruktionen auf dem See aus. In diesem Beitrag werden Konstruktionen bekannter Bühnenbilder und Spezifika im Planungsprozess für die Bregenzer Seebühne vorgestellt.

Steel construction for performing arts – Stage sets of the Bregenzer Festivals.

For well‐known festivals in Austria like e.g. Vienna, Salzburg and the Floating Stages in Bregenz and Mörbisch, open air theatres are the public magnets in summer time. Bregenz is characterized by the spectacular stage sets on the Floating Stage. In this contribution constructions of stage sets and specifics in the planning process for the Bregenzer Floating Stages are presented.
