## Abstract The platinum(0) complexes [Pt(C~2~H~4~)(PP)] (PP = 1,2‐bis[(diphenylphosphino)methyl]benzene (2) and (+)‐DIOP = (+)‐1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,4‐dideoxy‐2,3‐__O__‐isopropyliden‐D‐threitol), when promoted by CH~3~SO~3~H, become active catalysts for styrene hydroformylation with total y
