The main petrological and geochemical characteristics of the rocks of Copacabana, Paiman and Velasco Ranges are shown. This structure is related to the Ocloyic-Taconic Collision between Gondwana and Laurentia, during the Upper Ordovician-Lower Silurian and Lower Carboniferous in response to a compressive regime with vergence to the East.
