The superconducting properties and microstructure evolution of rig doped Bi based compounds with the nominal composition of Bi1.7 (Pbo.3) HgxSr2Ca2Cu3Oa ( 0 ~ X ~ 0.4 ) were investigated as a function of the doping level and sintering temperature. The transition to the superconductive state was obse
