✦ Synopsis
The stability of ettringite and monosulphate in water solutions with various values of pH was studied by the potentiometric method. Measurements performed in non-equilibrium conditions showed that the boundary for the disappearance of ettringite is pH = 10.7 and for monosulphate pH = 11.6. At lower values of pH, only gypsum and aluminum sulphate were present in the system studied.
