✦ Synopsis


The polarographic behaviour of Te(IV), Se(N) and the complexes of Te(II), Se(U) with mercaptocarboxylic acids in 0.5 M H,SO, have been studied. The stability constants of divalent tellurium complexes of 2.MPA, 3.MPA, MAA, TMA and cystoine have been determined by the Schwarzenbach method while attempts to evaluate the stability constants of Se(H) complexes are unsuccessful.
