✦ Synopsis

Thc account of the therapeutic uses of lipiodol occupies but fifteen pages. It has heen employed for pain in various positions and of varying causation ; and also for such conditions as chronic arthritis, tuberculous abscess, and bronchicctasis. Tlic therapeutic effects do not appear t o be such as to arouse enthusiasm.

It is rather surprising that of the 231 pages, 39 are devoted to bibliography, and that these pages contain references to no fewer than 708 papers relating to the subject.

The reproduct ions of the radiograms are greatly superior t o those in the French edition.
