The tetrameric title complex in the crystal of its toluene disolvate, i.e. tetra-"-cyano-tetrakis[(penta¯uorophenyl)(triethylphosphine)palladium(II)] toluene disolvate, [Pd 4 ("-CN) 4 (C 6 F 5 ) 4 (PEt 3 ) 4 ]Á2C 7 H 8 , occupies a special position on a crystallographic inversion centre and contains a square arrangement of four square-planar palladium centres.
