✦ Synopsis
outcomes need to be elucidated in future studies. Our patient developed liver fibrosis complicated by spur cell anemia 15 years after her initial OLT for biliary atresia. Liver retransplantation led to the resolution of her spur cell anemia and should be considered the treatment of choice in severe cases.
