β¦ Synopsis
It has been over a year since the end of the war, and Roland still hasnβt visited Sairisβs tower. No knight has ever gotten inside the fortress, in spite of decades of attempts. Roland knows that a visit may seem disrespectful. However, he fears losing Sairis to his secret world of magic.
When Sairis finally asks Roland to come along on a trip to the tower, Roland nearly falls over himself saying yes. However, Sairis is still mourning his master while struggling to bring his wood back to life. The tower represents a sanctuary from new roles. Sairis is haunted by ghosts of his past, and Roland may not be welcome.
