β¦ Synopsis
This paper demonstrates the use of a spreadsheet program that simulates the location of the moving boundary of the one-phase Stefan problem. A front-tracking method method is used for the numerical solution. The graphic capabilities of the Lotus l-2-3 and the on screen visual feedback, demonstrate the advantages of this approach as opposed to writing a computer program for the same task.
