โœฆ Synopsis

Microporous magnesium and manganese formates show not only a high capacity for acetylene sorption but also remarkable selectivity over CO 2 , CH 4 , N 2 , O 2 , and H 2 at room temperature. The single-crystal X-ray structure analysis of the acetylene-adsorbed metal formates reveals two acetylene sorption sites.

Let there be light: The N-alkylation of amines is catalyzed by a combination of [Ru 3 (CO) 12 ] and N-phenyl-2-(dicyclohexylphosphanyl)pyrrole with excellent activity and selectivity. By applying this novel catalyst, a variety of functionalized alcohols and amines were converted into the correspondi
