More than 40 of the most commonly encountered street drugs were subjected to several spot tests. These tests were carried out in a special sequence leading to the construction of a flowsheet. Thus, with a limited number of simple tests, it is possible to identify tentatively or narrow down the drug.
Results of a double-blind study regarding the validation of extraction and identification techniques for abuse drugs in 50 control urines t o which were addcd known concentrations of drugs are presented. Data on the excretion of some commonly abused drugs in human urine are also reported. Keyphrases
