A patient with asymptomatic primary hyperparathyroidism who spontaneously became normocalcernia is reported. The only significant finding was that of pain and tenderness in the enlarged parathyroid gland 2 weeks prior to surgery. This was due to a recent infarction of a parathyroid adenoma.
