## Abstract Recently, the ordinary qualitative criterion on how to distinguish between coherent and incoherent convolutions of broadband coherent anti‐Stokes Raman (CARS) signals generated by degenerate pump lasers has been revised in view of a quantitative analysis. The revision has established th
