Clinical, radiologic and ultrasound presentation of 52 cases of infiltrative lobular carcinoma (IJX). Particular emphasis is put on the study of the ultrasound features. 52 cases of pure or combined ILC, confirmed by surgical biopsy selected during the peri od between January 1991 to March 1997. All the cases were studied through clinical examination, mammography and ultrasound. 25 patients undenvent cytologic studies with tine needl e aspiration, under ultrasound control and 3 histologic studies (core-biopsy) with digital stereotaxis guide.
