✦ Synopsis
The tools are briefly described and are compared as to their usefulness for aiding the automation of code-conformance checking.
Beltramini, L and Motard, R L 'KNOD: a knowledge based approach for process design' Comput. Chem. Eng. Vol 12 No 9/10 (1988) pp 939-958 KNOD is an expert shell (written in LISP) which acts as a front end to a modular process simulator. KNOD is a frame-based object-oriented system. It has been used for research into the encoding of heuristic knowledge and strategies for the automatic design of process structures.
