We report the polarization spectra obtained from strained \(I n_{x} G a_{1-x}\) As/GaAs quantum wells. They reflect two important microscopic properties : first, the spin relaxation of the photo-excited holes is incomplete during recombination; second, the spin relaxation of the photo-generated carr

## Macroscopic boundary conditions are studied for spin dynamics in spin-polarized quantum gases. The constants in the boundary conditions are related to all possible microscopic processes (scattering, depolarization, sticking, etc.). important changes start with the formation of an absorbed bound

A series of quantum well (QW) structures of Al 0.3 Ga 0.7 As/GaAs were characterized by photoluminescence spectroscopy with circularly polarized excitation at 1.6 K. The samples were grown by molecular beam epitaxy on a 500 nm thick GaAs buffer layer and contained three QW structures with thicknesse
