✦ Synopsis

The 16 independent amplitudes making up the NN ~ NA scattering matrix are written in forms suitable for calculating observables, particularly, spin observables. Some of these observables are calculated, using amplitudes of the unitary Aaron-Amado-Young three-body model with iterated pion-exchange forces and displayed as functions of the production angle, the incident energy and the invariant mass of A. Comparisons with simpler models are also given.
